it's official
I have got to be the worst blogger in the history of the world.
There are so many things that have happened in the last month and a half. SO many things that I can't even think about writing them all. I am on a journey of sorts...to figure out exactly what it is that God is trying to tell me. Over the entire summer it seemed like he was YELLING in my ear...everything was so clear; the kind of people I should surround myself with, the kind of things I should be doing, how to best fashion my life to his will. Lately, however, I have been straining to hear him like my grandma strains to hear her wheel of fortune. The problem is : I think its me. Not God. My grandma's TV is plenty loud, its volume never changed, but her hearing has over the years. Maybe its the same with me: God's voice is just as loud as it was, but for some reason I'm in need of a hearing aid. The best hearing aid I can come up with is staying in the scripture. In fact, it might be the ONLY hearing aid I can think of.
OK so...enough of that stuff. Here's an update in list form:
1. Got a tattoo
2. Finally getting to take care of the really sick babies at work
3. Started watching the office, and it has changed my life
4. Searching for a place to worship that can quench my spiritual thirst.
5. Trying to shake off them haters
6. Ridiculous amount of time spent online talking to a certain someone...that happens to be 30 hours away
7. Quite a few good movies at Movie Tavern with Heather
8. Me and my DVR are very close friends ever since I've started working nights.
9. Lots of family time
10. A change in political views
